TARGET TRAINING’S

JUNIOR COACH PROGRAM
                 Application Deadline: Thursday, May 23
Applicants will receive a response by Thursday, May 30

The Target Training Junior Coach Program is a fun and rewarding opportunity for dancers looking to develop leadership skills by helping in the training studio. Junior Coaches will learn about quality coaching, Irish dance strength & conditioning, advance their communication skills and make lasting impressions as a valuable mentor to younger dancers.

This unique volunteer program allows each Junior Coach to gain first hand experience in teaching strength and conditioning techniques along with other important life lessons such as teamwork, courage, community and commitment. They will share in the journey of other dancers and feel a sense of accomplishment each step of the way.

Junior Coaches serve as role models and mentors to Target Training athletes through consistent motivation and encouragement. They always put in their best efforts, understand the importance of the position and are committed to the program and Target Training’s core values:

Quality Programming | Student Enrichment | Healthy Learning Environment | Respect

“Training the next generation of leaders and exposing them to the effects kinesiology has on Irish dancing is at the heart of the Target Training program.  It is an opportunity for athletes to gain experience as a leader and mentor younger athletes.

I cannot wait to begin working with the next class of Junior Coaches this summer!”
